Information for SLT Managers: Training you can deliver for Practitioners
Elklan has written many highly successful accredited training courses for the wider workforce from age 2-25 years. Over 20,000 learners have completed one of our Open College Network (OCN) accredited courses.
Who are the courses for?
Elklan courses are available to early years practitioners, teaching staff, teaching assistants, speech and language therapy assistants, college tutors , staff working in the youth justice sector. Practitioners can choose the course that is most appropriate for the age range and or area of specialism with whom they work.
Core Courses
The following courses have been designed to run over 10 weeks although can be taught in five half day sessions or 3 full days. This represents a large time commitment but saves time ultimately as SLTs are working with a highly skilled workforce who can implement training programmes more effectively.
