About the Training Courses : for Learners

What is a learner?
A learner is anyone who is completing one of the Elklan courses that is being run by a Speech and Language Therapist and/or Specialist Teacher

What courses are available?
Elklan have a range of courses to suit you whether you are a parent, early years worker, teacher or assistant working with children with Speech, Language and Communication Need (SLCN). You can study any of the core courses and then go on to complete one of the specialist courses.

Are the courses accredited?
The courses are accredited through Open College Network South West Region (GB) or Open College Network Northern Ireland (Ireland). You can study at either level 2, you will receive 6 credits whichever level you decide to study at. You can work towards an Elklan certificate by completing a number of the courses available.
