Let's Talk with 5-9's

Lets Talk with 5-9’s is an accredited course delivered over seven two-hour workshops.

Lets Talk with 5-9’s is relevant to parents and carers and those supporting children with speech, language and communication need who want some basic skills and knowledge. Completion of this course can lead to exploring the issues involved in more depth by attending the 'Speech and language support in the classroom' ten week course.

What will I receive?
The course aims to help you share the same information with SLT’s and work collaboratively to promote the communication skills of all children aged 5 - 9 but particularly those with delayed speech and language.

The aims of the course are:

An illustrated book full of practical tips and ideas accompanies the course. The book has questions and gaps that, when complete, enables you to gain Open College Network accreditation at level 1, but this is optional. With or without the accreditation, the book provides a rich source of individualised strategies and information to support a specific child.
