Let's Talk with Under 5's

‘Lets talk with Under 5s’ is an accredited course delivered over six two-hour workshops with an optional 7th that explores phonology.

‘Let’s talk with under 5s’ is relevant to parents and pre-school practitioners wanting some basic key skills and knowledge. Completion of this course can lead to exploring the issues involved in more depth by attending ‘Speech and language support for under 5s’ ten week course.

What will I receive?
The course aims to help parents, pre-school practitioners and SLTs, share the same information and work collaboratively to promote the communication skills of all children under 5 but particularly those with delayed speech and language.

The aims of the course are:

An illustrated book full of practical tips and ideas accompanies the course. The book has questions and gaps that, when complete, enables you to gain Open College Network accreditation at level 1 but this is optional. With or without the accreditation, the book provides a rich source of individualised strategies and information to support a specific child.
