Become an Elklan Tutor

Elklan is entering an exciting phase of the company’s journey by expanding outside of the UK. We are looking for driven speech and language therapists and pathologists to join our renowned network of tutors to deliver Elklan courses.

In order to qualify as an Elklan Tutor you will need to attend a Total Training Package (TTP). These can now be completed online with the company's experienced directors.

Once you have completed your Total Training Package, you are equipped to deliver Elklan courses to educational practitioners to enable them to support children’s communication and language development.

Delivering e-learning courses

Elklan has adapted our highly successful face-to-face courses into e-learning packages which now can be used by Elklan Tutors to deliver Elklan courses online, perfect for international participants.

Thourgh the e-learning packs, participants are provided with interactive e-learning sessions, live webinars, an e-book, and an accredited learning, ensuring high-quality course delivery.

These form the base of the course. There are ten interactive sessions, completed one per week the participant's own time. The sessions are full of activities and videos, creating a fun learning environment.

Webinars
Live Tutor Webinars

Learners meet online with their Elklan Tutor in live webinars once a week throughout the ten weeks of the course. These webinars are designed to support what has been learned during the e-learning sessions. The Tutor leads a discussion with a group of no more than 9 participants, giving the chance to share experiences and ask questions to reinforce their knowledge.

An e-book version of the course textbook is accessible on computers, tablets and mobiles. This adaptation of the classic 'Language Builders' provides practical solutions to support the course.

Learning Log
Learning Log

Accreditation is gained by completing the Learning Log - a record of how the participant applies the Elklan methods learned with the children and young people with whom they work - marked by their Elklan Tutor. Once the participant has successfully completed the course and Learning Log, they will be awarded with an accredited certificate.
