Image Description

Decades of front-line expertise in speech and language therapy and training, we understand the vital tools for people to use when working with children.

We write our own accredited courses and produce a host of supporting materials - giving you the confidence to make a difference.

More than 60,000 people across the UK and around the world have chosen to become Elklan learners, completing courses run by our network of 3,500 therapists and specialist teachers we've trained as licenced tutors.

What Elklan does is unique. We're the only organisation offering a choice of local accredited face-to-face and online courses tailored for different professional roles and child age groups.

Our innovative approach
has come into its own during COVID-19.

We've continued to provide our accredited courses through interactive online learning, ensuring participants feel well-supported and able to share learning with others through live webinars.

TALK Derby

Elklan has been proud to have worked with Derby City Council and Dept of Education colleagues to bring TALK Derby to Early Years practitioners in the city. The project is drawing to a close, and so we want to take this opportunity to all of those who have worked so diligently to make the Elklan training offered a success over the past two years.

Times have been challenging, but our wonderful team of Elklan tutors, especially Faith Cross and Suzanne Dunne who have worked tirelessly to support the learners to improve the life chances and communication skills of pre-school children in Derby.
